BMW shows prototype Electric Scooter at Olympic Pavilion

With the “C evolution” BMW Motorrad presents the near-production prototype of an e-scooter as it might soon thrill riders and experts alike. The development process drew on much expertise from a range of fields. After all, the BMW Group is one of the few manufacturers to develop, design and produce both cars and motorcycles. This means BMW is in an excellent position to tackle the challenges of urban mobility in the future.

The fully electrically powered BMW C evolution sees its world premiere in London on July 27th 2012. To mention just two highlights: the new scooter can be fully charged in less than three hours and has a range of up to 100 kilometres.
