RCR Racing Operation to Conduct Surplus Auction: Iron Horse Auction Company, Inc. of Rockingham, N.C. will conduct an auction of surplus racing equipment for the Richard Childress Racing Organization on December 6, 2011 at 10:00 am. The auction will include racing cars, racing engines, parts, accessories, equipment and much more. The auction will be held on site at RCR Racing Complex. Welcome, N.C. (November 30, 2011) –Richard Childress Racing will host an auction of surplus racing equipment at its complex located in Welcome, N.C. on Tuesday, Dec. 6.

The public sale will include racing cars, racing engines, parts, accessories, equipment and much more, with the majority of the parts being fairly new, having been run on a very minimal amount.

Iron Horse Auction Company, Inc. of Rockingham, N.C. will conduct the auction with live and internet bidding commencing at 10 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time. Its principals are recognized on an international level for their knowledge and experience in the sale of NASCAR racing equipment. They have held auctions for major teams since 1980, including Digard Racing, Blue Max, Black Diamond and Holman and Moody.

Thomas McInnis of Iron Horse states, “It is an honor to represent RCR on the sale of this outstanding grouping of current technology racing equipment. This is a rare opportunity for the racing series operators at the cup level and below to buy great equipment.”
